Qaggiavuut is seeking candidates for fulltime senior directors who will lead the growth of our exciting Nunavut performing arts organization!
Qaggiavuut is guided by principles of decolonization, Inuit culture and language, inclusivity, diversity, healing and wellness.

Our Mission:
- Qaggiavuut works to strengthen and support Nunavut performing artists with a focus on Inuit
- We advocate for the Qaggiq, a Nunavut performing arts and cultural learning hub
- We deliver programs that help Inuit performing artists reach their potential
Qaggiavuut is a non-profit, charitable society governed by an elected Board of Directors.
- One-year terms starting July, 2020 with possibility of extension
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- The positions include paid leave and benefits.

A team of 4 Senior Directors (Executive Director, Director of Artistic Creation, Director of Qaggiq School of Performing Arts and Qaggiq Hub Director) work in a coordinated, collaborative way to integrate the performing arts, Inuit culture and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit.
Executive Director
The Qaggiavuut Executive Director is responsible for the strategic, legal and financial management of the Qaggiavuut Society.
