Congratulations to our graduates from the Digital Soundwaves Program: Noah (Arctic Bay), Brenda (Baker Lake), Eva (Arviat), Stuart (Baker Lake), and Chris (Pangnirtung).
These Nunavut musicians participated in Qaggiavuut's 5-day mentorship program to develop their knowledge of marketing and music distribution in the digital age!
We worked together in Iqaluit to get an understanding on how to register musical catalogues, navigate split sheets and royalties, learn about licensing, clearances, marketing, content creation, social media management, and more!
